The biggest lily field in Japan with four million lily flowers is in the summer resort at 1,300 meters above sea level.
Myōunji Temple Botan (Japanese Peony) Festival
There is a peony (botan) garden taken care of by the members of “Peony Grower Association” with the greatest care on the premise of Myōunji, an ancient temple of the Rinzai school of Buddhism with a history of over 800 years.
There are more than 3,000 peony trees that produce flowers in many colors such as red, pink, purple, white and yellow.

The Kinomatagawa River, the tributary of the Nakagawa River is a clear stream. The valley surrounding the garden is a great spot as there are many trees along the valley and you can enjoy fresh greenery, autumn foliage and the colonies of Toisusu urbaniana trees (wide-leaved willow trees).

Miyama Enchi Garden
This garden has been developed in the heart of Miyama MountainMountain at 1,200 meters above sea level. Seasonal panoramic views such as fresh/deep greenery and autumn foliage can be enjoyed there.
The gradation of autumn leaves from the summit to the foot, sometimes called “Shade of three grades” is especially spectacular.
